Olivia + Kaitlyn's Cell
Our group is very diverse but that's what we love about it! We are all in our early to mid twenties with a very laid back mentality. Some of us are in beauty school, going through school at a local college/online college, or already living out their passion through their profession. There are a few things that our group does have in common though! We love a good cup of joe, spending time outside wether it be hiking or biking, food, and JESUS (duh)! Every meeting we start with chatting about our week while munching on some snacks. There is one week out of the month that instead of a snack we prepare a meal to enjoy together. We love the idea of creating a community that we get to build friendships and learn more about Jesus. If this sounds like something you would want to be apart of then we would love to have you!! We have grown to love this community in the Frassati society and we hope that you can come to love it too!
Hi I am Olivia. I am a student at IPFW studying Elementary Education with a dual license in Special Education. In my free time I love to go hiking, biking and going on spontaneous adventures. I am have a passion for DIY and up cycling projects. I also enjoy using essential oils and making homemade natural body care items. An interesting fact about myself is that this year I am a first time beekeeper. I have one beehive in my backyard. I love meeting new people and creating lasting memories with the people around me.
Hello! My name is Kaitlyn. I currently have my associates in education and I'm working on my bachelors in special education. I have been a nanny and a lifeguard for about two and a half years. I love what I do! I enjoy spending time traveling, going to the lake, going on hikes, bike rides, reading, learning about essential oils, and being with my friends. I pretty much always have a smile on my face and enjoy other people's presence. This is why I am so excited about this Frassati Society. Watching a community like this grow is so exciting!
Bella + Grace's Cell
Hi! My name is Bella, and I am currently studying Middle School Education at IPFW. I also work as a
kindergarten teacher’s assistant at a local catholic grade school. Some of my favorite things
include baking cookies, doing yoga, having spontaneous craft days, having impromptu dance parties in
my kitchen, and gallivanting around the world on different adventures (including hiking the Camino de
Santiago with two of my best friends and attending the canonization of St. Mother Teresa).
PJ + Teddy's Cell (Summer only)
(Summer Breaks Only)
Hey! My name is PJ and am a student at Franciscan University of Steubenville. I am the youngest of a family of six. I have two brothers and one sister. Joining Frassati has been an absolute blessing for me because it has helped me grow in my faith in ways that I have never imagined. I lead a cell group, Esto Vir ("Be a man") with my good friend Teddy. Most of our group is comprised of college students, so we only meet during the summertime. Thanks and God bless!
Bekah + Hannah's Cell
We are a lively group of young women in our 20s who enjoy colorful snacks and deep discussions about big time questions. Like, how do we love God like He loves us? How do we evangelize when people don't listen? What do we truly believe? And how long is fruit by the foot really?! We love and embrace our femininity and are open and down-to-earth with each other. If you want to discus and ponder life with us while eating the best snacks and laughing hysterically along the way, come join us on our journey to holiness!
(Currently meets with Judy and Maria's Cell Group)
My name is Bekah. I am a high school graduate from the proud place of my home!
I am a parishioner and active volunteer at my home parish St. Vincent de Paul, I am a chocolatier at DeBrand Fine Chocolates which is fitting seeing as I probably eat half my body weight in chocolate on a weekly basis..ha.. I wish that was a joke.
I am the 3rd youngest child of 7 and I went through an intense phase of being a toe sock fanatic (which I may or may not still be in). My favorite candle scent is crisp apples, I have a passion for working with special needs kids, I am extremely squeamish, I love having the chapel all to myself, and I am passionately Catholic. My life goal is to be a Saint. I just hope my life screams that as much as my church retreat shirts do.
Hi, my name's Hannah! I love to laugh and make others laugh (though not always at my jokes and puns…but at "my laughter"). I graduated from AMU in Florida with a degree in Psychology and Family & Society. I've worked in the social work field with families with infants and young children. So, I love babies and seeing kids light up about the smallest things and learn and grow are my favorite! I’ve currently switched gears in my professional life and am now learning about insurance and working with Northeast Indiana’s grandpas and grandmas. I love my crazy family, friends, food of all kinds, music, movies, adventur-ing…and SLOTHS! (Fun fact: I was born in Madagascar and lived with my family in different countries in Africa!!) I enjoy learning new things, am humbled by my failures, and am eager to grow in my faith. What better way to fall more in love with Jesus and His Church than to share the journey with inspiring women and young adults who want to do the same all while having fun and living out this crazy thing called life?!
Our group is very eclectic and cozy. Each week we begin with food, wine, and conversation before we delve into our group video and discussion. Our group is made up of a handful of ladies 21 and older that are passionate about life and serving the Lord together. We love getting to know each other more deeply on a personal and spiritual level, and we have been able to grow together so much through this group! We are a pet-friendly house, so if you have any furry pals that would like some new friends, you're welcome to bring them along during our meeting time! If you’re down for some good food, wine and friendship – we’re the group for you!
Hello! My name is Rose, I'm 22 years old and I am lucky number 7 of 8 kids. I’m a Medical Assistant at Credo Family Medicine, and if I’m not at work you’ll probably find me hanging out with friends or behind a camera. I'm a cradle Catholic and I have my parents to thank for my love for my Faith and the Sacraments (and also my good looks and stellar personality but who's keeping track). I love traveling, camping and spending time outdoors and you can almost always bet that I have my roller blades or hammock close by if I'm going somewhere. Several years ago I read "A Man of Beatitudes" which told the story of the life of Pier Giorgio and I immediately fell in love with the passion he had for life and the way he was able to glorify God through community and nature, and that’s what I hope you’ll be able to find in my cell group. Verso l'alto!
Karena + Claire + Anna's Cell
Yo yo yo! My name is Karena. I am the second oldest of 10 kiddos and I am go to IPFW for nursing. I work at a factory part time where I help make security doors. I quite like candles, ducks, stars, my family, my main girl Mary, outside, pens, flowers, food, stickers (especially those dinosaur ones), and adventuring with friends. I want 15 kids (although my boyfriend Josh hasn't agreed to that yet, if we get married), and I don't wear matching socks because it makes my life more colorful and fun. And I get distracted very easily and love the way babies smell. My favorite way to imagine Jesus is in a room with realistic stars painted all over it and me laying my head on Jesus' lap while we talk. My dream is to be the woman I was created to be.
Hello! My name is Claire and I am studying nursing at USF. I also work at a retirement community as an Activities Assistant. I have loving parents, a brother (who also a Brother in a religious order), a fluffy dog, and a fat cat. I love art, Reese’s, and warm weather! I am the second oldest out of six kids, and I thoroughly enjoy being part of a large family--there is never a dull moment. I am obsessed with country music and One Direction (which they are not broken up, they're just on break!!) In between working at a local country club and a fine chocolates company, I enjoy being around my friends, singing my heart out, horseback riding, stuffing myself with chocolate, and of course....living out my faith!!
Kyle + Sam's Cell
“In Catholicism, the pipe, the pint, and the cross can all fit together” – G.K. Chesterton. We’re a group of guys with very diverse passions from engineering and automechanics to philosophy, but we all agree that we can glorify the Lord through our community, and as a community we enjoy, the pint, the pipe, the cross… and good food. We’re a very laid back group, and we start each Thursday evening meeting with a meal and then do our best to plumb the mysteries of the faith, because, “as iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” (Proverbs 27:17) We started out with several weeks of discussing the role of the Holy Spirit in our lives, and we have big plans for the future, such as outdoor adventures, bar crawls, sporting events, and all things manly. If you’re a man and you’re looking to grow in your faith, come join our fellowship because, “for where two or three are gathered, there I am in their midst.”
My name is Sam. I’m a part-time adventurer and a full-time Catholic. I began to take a serious approach to my faith whilst hiking the Camino de Santiago, and spent two years in discernment as a seminarian for the Diocese of Fort Wayne -South Bend after that. I find that community allows one to
connect with the Holy Spirit in a far deeper and richer way, and that’s what I pray my cell group is accomplishing. If you’re a guy looking for some goofy yet solid men to grow in the faith with, you’ve come to the right place.
